Terms & Conditions

Pay as you go

Cancellations are to be made in excess of 24 hours notice, inside of this time period will result in the full session fee being charged (first lesson free will be lost)

If the instructor agrees to waiver the cancellation fee in exchange of a later session booked in the day or the same week, a cancellation fee is mandatory if the pupil decides to cancel the rearranged lesson at anytime from the point of re-booking.

Pay monthly

Pay monthly is a single, non contractual and non refundable monthly payment starting from a date of the pupil’s choosing. For example, if the pupil chooses to start a pay monthly block on 15th, the next renewal date will be on the week the 15th falls on in the next calendar month.

Cancellations incur no charge at anytime, however the instructor reserves the right to remove the affected session if it can’t be redeemed within one week of the original cancelled lesson.

Top ups are available at the pupil’s discretion for a pro rota fee. For example, if a 1 hour a week package was selected at the start, and the pupil wants to top up to 1.5 hours a week, then 30mins at the lesson rate per week will be calculated upto but not including the renewal week.

If the pupil decides to downgrade their package (e.g. 2 hours a week to 1.5 hours a week) they may do so but without a part refund for the hours they won’t fulfil.

Lesson bookings

All lesson bookings are subject to change

Payment for the lesson is to be made at the start of the lesson by the current methods of payment the instructor is accepting.

During adverse weather conditions the instructor reserves the right to cancel the lesson at any time if they deem the conditions dangerous or unsafe for the pupils ability. No charge will be applied, pay monthly learners will have their lessons reimbursed.

In the event of any difficulty or mechanical breakdown, the instructor reserves the right to re-arrange the lesson at any time without charge or deduction of lesson time to the pupil.

If the instructor believes the pupil to be under the influence of alcohol or any form of drugs, they reserve the right to cancel the session immediately with a full lesson charge unless on a pay monthly package where the hours will be deducted.

The cost to book the pupil’s driving test does not cover the hire cost of the instructor’s car, a standard rate of 2 hours is applicable to all tests. The DVSA do not supply cars for test purposes however the pupil may provide their own car subject to the requirements set out on gov.uk

If the pupil chooses to use their own car for the purposes of the test, Synerdrive or its instructors accepts no responsibility or liability for any damages/injuries sustained to any party involved before, during or after the driving test.
